Description

Two areas of trenches were excavated. A single trench measuring 30m long and 1.6m was excavated to depth 0.85m in the area to the west of Plantation Stud. Three further trenches were excavated to the south east of the Plantation Stud buildings. These trenches measured between 20m and 30m long by 1.6m wide and they were excavated to a maximum depth of 1.2m. No finds or features of archaeological interest were identified during the evaluation (S1).
