Description
Archaeological Monitoring over three visits were made to inspect footing trenches for the new building at the junction of Blackfriars and Priory Walk, to the rear of the Ship and Star public house. This site was close to an area of known human burials. However, a total lack of archaeological finds from the site suggests that the new building lie well away from any within the Sudbury Blackfriars.
