Description
Area of new building stripped prior to visit. Only a natural boulder clay subsoil revealed. No archaeological features or deposits.
No topsoil anywhere on site, area has been previously truncated. Plot to the west c.1m higher. Site presumably sloped gently down to the east but has been terraced sometime in the relatively recent past. Spoil quickly examined but only consisted of natural subsoil.
