Description
Stripping 400mm off on day of visit. 2.5m apart fairly evenly across the two trenches. Topsoil - up to 50cm deep all over the site.
Below topsoil - natural orange/brown clay/loam subsoil . Visible in 2 areas where the site has been machined lower than (50cm) + 400mm to a depth of 1.50m below ground level.
Only visible features cut into natural subsoil. These were modern pipe trenches.
