Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out at Church Cottages, Blythburgh of groundworks. Relatively shallow depth of topsoil encountered between the house and the south wall of the churchyard increased in depth towards the south. A sharp drop off between the southern boundary of the property and the garden of the adjacent Cavell Cottage had been presumably artifically created. No finds or features of archaeological interest were found.
