Two visits were made to the site. During the the first visit topsoil had been stripped off. On the second visit, footings were open in the southern half revealing 500mm of hillwash decreasing upslope to the north. Footings revealed two/three 19th century or later pits. A scatter of unstratified medieval and early Post medieval pottery sherds were also found.
