Description
Visit was made to the site following the excavation of a footing trench for a back extension to the house. Spoil was available alongside the trench for inspection. Aproximately 4m of trench open. The trench was c.1.2m deep with dark brown topsoil over an undisturbed orange sand/clay mix. Only finds broken tile and brick circa 19th century.
