Description
Site visits saw the initial topsoil strip of the garage footprint, to a depth of 0.3m. This did not fully cut through the topsoil and the subsoil was not seen.
A fully excavated footing trench was seen in the doorway of the existing garage (which was being converted). This was approximately 4m long and showed the natural orange gravel subsoil at a depth of 0.6m under a 0.4m thick layer of grey/brown clay and 0.2m of modern material. No features seen.
