Description

Nine monitoring visits were made to the scheme (Seven for Phase I and Two for Phase II). In all cases the pipe was laid directly into a narrow (0.40m wide trench). Trench depth varied over the monitoring scheme. No archaeological features were seen. Occasional post-medieval brick. A few medieval pottery sherds in the spoil of area 8 (S1).
