Description
Archaeological trial trench evaluation on proposed development area. Most of the archaeological activity was recorded in the south-western corner which corresponds with the interpretation of the geophysical survey previously undertaken. The site is approx. 5ha. A total of 34 trial trenches were excavated. Topsoil was an average depth of 0.24m-0.47m over subsoil c0.45-0.80m, over Natural layer c0.44-0.9m deep (S1).
