Full Description

2015: Geophysics identified a former enclosure and associated backfilled pits. Evidence of modern ploughing and a former field boundary were also seen (S2).

2015: Evaluation trenches revealed features relating to two main periods of activity; a later prehistoric field system (Bronze Age to Iron Age), aligned north-south and medieval enclosures (c. 11-14th century), associated with road frontage settlement activity indicated by pits containing large pottery and finds assemblages (S1).

2015:Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2015 (S3).
