Monitoring of footings for a conservatory revealed nearly half a metre of disturbed ground sealing a subsoil layer. Trenching was undertaken to a depth of c.0.85m, revealing the composition of the soil in the exposed sections. No features were observed, however, one sherd of medieval pottery was recovered from the spoil (S1).
