Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out for a rear extension to Stoke by Nayland Primary School. The trenches were cut to a depth of 0.8m. The natural subsoil lay at a depth of 0.5m below an overburden of dark sandy loam and the gravel and hardcore sub-base of the former playground. No archaeological finds or features were identified (S1).
