Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out during the excavation of footing and pipe trenches for the construction of a new building on the site of the former farm buildings. The ground works consisted of extensive footings on an H shaped plan within a walled enclosure. Four visits were made to the site and approximately 75% of the trenching was seen and it was decided no further visits were needed following the surface strip. No finds or features of archaeological interest were identified (S1).
