Description
Monitoring of ground works for new extensions and a car port was carried out over two site visits. Following this a third visit was made to record what was left of the timber frame exposed on the eastern side of the farm house and then a fourth visit was made to monitor the ground works for a new treatment plant pit. The c.46m of foundation trenches (see Fig. 2) for the side and rear extensions were 0.6m wide and between 1.0m and 1.10m deep. The work did not reveal any archaeological features and the only stray finds were of a post 1900 date.
