Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on a small building extension. A dark almost black loam topsoil had been removed from the site and approximately two thirds of the footing trenching had been excavated by hand. The combined depth of the garden and subsoil layers was c.0.5m. No cut features were identified but pottery was recovered by the owner (S1).
