Description
Evaluation was carried out ahead of the development of a new dwelling. Two test pits each 2mx2m were excavated to a depth of 0.68-1.09m. Top soil was Dark grey brown, firm, silty sand with moderate flint at a depth of 0.32-35m. Below was modern made gound at a depth of 0.39-1.09m. Below was the natural, mixed firm, pale brown and pale mid grey brown very silty sand at 1.09m+ deep (S1).
