Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on the excavation of internal piled footings, during refurbishment of the building. The groundworks consisted of square post pad footings. Excavated to a depth of 1.5m the post pads were installed prior to the demolition of internal load bearing walls. A late Post Medieval brick floor from a cellar was identified (S1).
