Description

This report documents the findings of a watching brief carried out during the excavation of geotechnical test pits on land off Eastgate Street, Bury St Edmunds. Sixteen test pits were excavated and although a single modern rubbish pit was recorded, no archaeological remains were encountered. A full record was made of the natural deposits (S1).
