Description
A field walking survey was carried out on an area of c.7.8 hectares by 26 individuals on behalf of Elmswell Millennium History Group. The walkers were grouped into pairs and would walk 12.5m apart on a laid out grid, from east to west. The field surface was dry and had a variable amount of crop cover, in some place quite thick. On average the surface visibility could be described as medium (S1).
