Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to a proposal to develop of the site. The evaluation consisted of sixteen 30m long by 1.9m width. The trenches varied in depth between 0.3m and 1.5m. The trenching represented over a 5% sample of the site. The evaluation revealed several medieval, post medieval and undated features and some prehistoric pottery. The site had been heavily truncated across the site (S1).
