Description
An archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out prior the proposed redevelopment of the land and construction of a care home. The evaluation consisted of five trenches, four of which measured 15m in length and one which measured 40m in length. The site was heavily truncated by 19th century clay extraction pits and no earlier features were identified.
