Description

Excavation by Mr Campbell, only Victorian Levels (S1, S2). On 9th June 1976 an area approx. 6ft x 3ft was excavated in the N.W. corner of the Woolpack grounds. At a depth of 31"in rubble an 1858 farthing was found. At 50" a solid brick floor has been located. Information from Colin Campbell (S3).
