Description

Archaeological monitoring was carried out on groundworks associated with the reduction of floor levels to provide replacement floors within the property. Three 0.5m by 1m test pits were also excavated outside the western wall of the building to investigate the foundations of the buildings. These pits were excavated to a depth of 0.8m. A floor relating to its conversion to a bakehouse in the 19th century was identified.
