Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on footings for a new dwelling and garage. The observed footings were approximately 0.7m wide and up to 2.2m deep. The stratigraphy encountered 0.3m of topsoil over 0.3m of subsoil which sealed natural clay. Footings belonging to a c.15 year old structure were noted at depths of up to 2m. No finds or features of archaeological interest were identified.
