Description
An archaeological monitoring was carried out during topsoil stripping for a new grain store. The monitored area measured approximately 33m x 25m.The topsoil was 200-300mm thick and directly overlay natural clay. No archaeological features were recorded and no artefacts were recovered. A modern field boundary ditch was identified.
