Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out during the excavation of new service trenches. The service trenches along the northern/north eastern perimeter road were 0.5m wide and between 0.5m and 0.7m deep. The soil profile generally consisted of 0.1m of topsoil overlying up to c.0.4m of windblown sands or disturbed soils. No finds or features of archaeological interest were identified.
