Description
Monitoring of the excavation of the foundations for a new garage block to be built to the south of the Chapel in Hopton. The footprint of the new garages measured 9m long, 6m wide and was stripped to 0.35m deep with the foundations excavated to 0.5m deep. The entire archaeological horizon had been truncated by modern disturbances within the excavation area and no archaeological material was recovered.
