Description

A geophysical survey using earth resistance and magnetic measurements was undertaken at Gun and Skilman’s Hills to evaluate the survival of sub-surface features and gain insight into the towns development. Gun hill revealed some structural elements that appear to align with a former roadway. Some sub-surface of a WWII gun battery was also identified. On Skilman’s Hill, remnants of two former trackways were identified.
