Description

An archaeological evaluation was carried out for a single dwelling development to the rear of the existing house. The evaluation consisted of a single 13.7m by 1.80m trench, which gave a substantial sample of the footprint for the planned dwelling. The trench was excavated to a depth of 1.30m through layers of post medieval layers. A few pottery sherds of medieval date were also identified.
