Description
Monitoring of groundworks associated with the conversion of a barn. The footing trenches were 0.5m wide and 1m deep. A possible former floor surface was recorded inside the barn and flint and mortar footings were observed which could suggest an earlier phase of structure, later reused to build the existing brick walls. No artefactual evidence was recovered from the upcast spoil or seen in the exposed sections.
