Description
Monitoring of pad type foundations for a detached care annex, the new build area was flat as the site had been terraced to form a flat area c20/30 years ago with the removal of up to 0.5m of the original ground surface. 0.7-1m pad base pits revealed 0.2m-0.3m of topsoil over 0.1-0.2m of mid brown clay soil.
