Description
Monitoring of groundworks for an extension. Footing trenches measured 0.5m wide and 1.1 m deep and the soakaway was 0.6m square and 1.1 m deep. The soil sequence comprised of a mid-dark brown silty sand topsoil 0.35m thick oberlying a mid-yellowish brown slightly silty sand subsoil 0.6m thick. The natural subsoil was a plae brownish yellow sand. No archaeological features or finds were recorded.
