Description
Monitoring of footing trenches for an extension. Footing trenches had been hand dug to a depth of c.900mm. A thin spread of dark humic topsoil (c.200mm) was over truncated yellow sand to the base of the trench. A modern ceramic waste water-pipe crossed the trenches from north to south. No archaeolgical features or finds were recorded.
