Description
An archaeological monitoring was carried out at 'Maelands', Shilling Street, Lavenham, in advance of the construction of an extension to the existing property. The footing trenches were inspected and a natural subsoil of clean-yellow/brown clay was noted at a depth of c. 0.3m below ground level. No features were noted and no artefacts of any period were recovered.
