Description
An archaeological monitoring was carried out during the excavation of building footings for offices in a new compound built off the north-west corner of Rochester Road, on RAF Lakenheath. A largely undisturbed red brown sandy soil with occasional tree roots was exposed over yellow sand. No archaeological features were identified.
