other refurbishment work at the end of taxiway Victor on RAF Lakenheath. Although
exposed surfaces were not fully cleaned it was possible to carry out a walkover survey of the site. No archaeological features were identified or artefacts recovered. a walkover was carried out on the exposed sand at the western end of the works.
Sand was exposed over the whole area. It varied in colour from light orange to dark brown and there were occasional flints across the surface. No cut features were identified, or struck flint or other surface finds recovered (S1).
