Description
Monitoring of 3 excavated test-holes on the route for a proposed Anglian Water Sewer. No archaeological deposits were identified. Topsoil thickness varied between 0.2m-1.2m comprising light brown sandy loam and lay directly on the naturally occuring sand and gravel subsoil. The water table was at a depth of 1.6m below ground surface (S1).
