Description
Monitoring prior to development. The majority of the plot was stripped to reveal truncated caly natural, a number of 20th century pits were noted but no features or finds of archaeological significance were recognised. The site had previously been used as a garage forecourt and it seems likely that this area had been cut into the hill edge to make the gradient of the slope less steep (S1).
