Description
Monitoring of works groundworks associated with the construction of an artificial badger set. An area measuring c.8m by 6m was mechanically excavated to depths of up to 1m. This work revealed a subsoil of dense, pale yellow, sandy silt overlying a dark yellow/orange clay with flints at a depth of around 0.8m. No archaeological features or finds were recorded (S1).
