Description
The second phase of a two stage evaluation was carried out. A total of 156 trenches were excavated across the central and southern portions of the proposed development area. The trenches were excavated in order to ascertain the presnce, extent and nature of any surviving archaeology and to determine the extent of horizons already identified during Phase 1 (S1).
