Description
Watching brief ahead of development. Area was stripped prior to arrival. The first 8.8m have had only between 0.08-0.15m removed - garden topsoil, to reveal the next 4.6m step down to 0.38m depth. Shows redeposited natural of mixed yellow silty clay with CBM pressed in. Below was a layer of gravel and rubble. All appears to be post-medieval in origin, no finds recovered only CBM observed (S1).
