Description

After an initial, short visit to the dig in 2013 a series of further post-dig visits was agreed. Finds from the first visit, which concentrated on the dig field and mostly comprised of roman coins, are included. The main surveys were conducted on three days in the autumn of 2013 by volunteer metal detectorists from Cambridgeshire community archaeology groups. IT was conducted towards the end of a dry summer. The dry soil conditions impeded performance of all the detector models used (S1).
