Description
Monitoring of limited ground works of small pad type foundations for a planned annex structure within the large Roman period settlement in the village revealed extensive evidence for disturbance of recent date across the entire site. No archaeological features were revealed and the only finds in the upcast spoil were brick and tile fragments of later Post medieval date.
