Description
2020: An Archaeological excavation was undertaken at Stowupland High School which revealed evidence of medieval activity. The proposed development site for a sixth form centre comprised three separate areas. Area 1 was approximately 0.15ha, Area 2 was approximately 0.17ha, and area 3 was approximately 0.11ha. A total of six trenches were excavated with a length of 19m-32.5 and a width of 1.80m, and to a depth of 0.29-0.65m over natural geology. (S1)
