Description
A report on the examination, conservation and analysis of artefacts from a late Anglo-Saxon cemetery and associated settlement. Many illustrations of X-ray images and micrographs are used to explain the function and materials used in selected objects and corroded groups, including in-depth studies of a keystone garnet inlaid brooch, a purse group and the reconstruction of a small padlocked casket.
