Description
1998-1999: As part of a major project of restoration to Framlingham Mere, involving the temporary on-site storage and subsequent removal from the site of a large quantity of silt, archaeological monitoring was carried out. The monitoring included the recording of any damage to the existing earthworks and assessing the need for remedial works. The work was undertaken in two phases. Monitoring visits for phase 1 were made between February 1998 and July 1998. Monitoring visits for Phase 2 were made between October 1998 and July 1999.
