Description
A programme of archaeological work was undertaken following the discovery of man-made wooden structures and pottery in a stretched of foreshore below Sutton Hoo. The work comprised environmental work, survey of the eroding river bank, systematic fieldwalking and monitoring of both the foreshore and condition of the known wooden structures.
