Description

A programme of field walking was undertaken by the Suffolk Archaeological Field Group, in a 10 metre grid pattern in Church Field. This was followed by a series of investigations comprising a 4m by 2m evaluation trench in Church Meadow, Three one metre square trenches along the edge of Church Field to ascertain of the soil and a 3m by 1m trench in the garden border of the Old Rectory.
