Description
Due to the hardness of the gournd only the norther foundation trench for the garage extension (measuring 5m long x 0.5m wide x 1.1m deep) had been excavated. This revealed that, (other than the uppermost 0.5m of section, which had extensive root disturbance), the subsoil (sands and gravels) was undisturbed.
